Basically Modern Arts Sanctuary
The BMAS provides residency's for composers and visual artists who wish to visit the United States in order to create new works while visiting New York.
Located on the northern edge of the Catskill Mountains, the sanctuary is surrounded by woods and sits on the Basic River. Residencies are available for 2-10 days and included meals, one bedroom, private office, wireless internet, use of a Steinway grand piano and chamber concert room that seats 40, large artist workspace. Visit may include day trips to New York City, recital and guest lecture.
Residencies are available from May-October with rolling admission. There is no residency fee.
